Using an inboard boat is one of the critical elements to safe wakesurfing. The propellers on inboard boats are concealed unlike the propellers on outboard boats. This is important because wakesurfers follow approximately three to seven feet behind the boat. A concealed propeller creates less of a hazard for the wakesurfer.
