Tip of the Week

Buying the Right Wakeboard

A lot of people think that the more expensive the board the better or that whatever the shop owner talks you into should be good. That’s not the case. When shopping for a wakeboard take into mind your skill level, height, and weight. Skill level especially because they make boards for beginners through advanced. If a beginner buys an advanced board, it will make it harder to learn to ride. Talk to several shops and if you’re just starting, consider buying last year’s model or a used board to see if you even like wakeboarding. Do research on the internet and in magazines to see which boards have what features for what skill level. Above all, don’t go and buy the most expensive, most popular board. What works for Parks Bonifay may not work for you.
